At today’s “Future of Food: Food Security in the 21st Century” conference, a panel discussion on sustainable farming, land management and technology addressed an urgent question: how will we be able to feed a growing population from the same amount of land?
In the video above, Dr. Jason Clay, Senior Vice President at World Wildlife Fund, talks about the importance of using science, as well as the expertise of every farmer, to answer this question. Dr. Clay joined the panel along with Chris Policinski, president and CEO of Land O’ Lakes, and Samuel Allen, chairman and CEO of Deere & Company, who agreed that our best hope lies in the diversity of the global farm community.
